Who we are

MeowCalculator is an independent, India-focused calculator website built by a small team who got tired of hunting through slow, ad-choked, sign-up-gated tools every time we needed a quick loan, tax or investment number. We're not a bank, a financial advisory firm or a registered investment adviser — we're builders who wanted a fast, clean, trustworthy toolbox and decided to make it publicly available for free.

Why this website exists

Most people in India will, at some point, need to work out an EMI before signing a loan agreement, check how much GST applies to an invoice, project what a SIP might grow into, or figure out their in-hand salary after deductions. These are simple maths problems, but the tools available online are often cluttered with intrusive pop-ups, forced logins, or results hidden behind a "submit your phone number" wall. MeowCalculator exists to remove all of that friction: open a calculator, type your numbers, get your answer — nothing else required.

Our mission

Our mission is to make everyday financial maths accessible, transparent and free for every Indian — whether you're a student comparing education loan options, a salaried employee planning a SIP, a shopkeeper working out GST on an invoice, or a retiree estimating a pension corpus. We believe understanding the numbers behind a financial decision shouldn't require paying for software or handing over your personal data.

What our calculators provide

Every calculator on MeowCalculator is built around a few simple principles:

• Instant, in-browser results — every calculation runs directly on your device using standard, published financial formulas. Nothing you type is uploaded, stored or shared with us.
• Clear explanations — each calculator includes the formula used, a worked real-world example, step-by-step usage instructions and answers to common questions, so you understand how the number was reached, not just what it is.
• No sign-up, no paywall — every tool on this site is, and will remain, completely free to use with no account required.
• Educational, not advisory — our calculators are designed to help you understand and estimate figures. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified financial advisor, chartered accountant or your bank, especially for decisions involving large sums of money.

We currently offer 20+ calculators spanning loans (EMI, home loan, car loan, personal loan, gold loan, education loan), investments and savings (SIP, FD, RD, PPF, NPS, lumpsum, mutual fund returns, retirement planning), tax and salary (GST, income tax, HRA, salary, gratuity) and everyday utilities (inflation, currency conversion, age and percentage calculators). Results are estimates

Every result produced by our calculators (EMI, SIP, GST, income tax, HRA, gratuity, retirement projections and all others) is an estimate based on the figures you enter and standard published formulas. Actual figures from your bank, employer, mutual fund, insurer or the Income Tax Department may differ due to rounding methods, compounding conventions, processing fees, scheme-specific rules, regulatory changes, or errors in the data you enter. Investment return figures (SIP, lumpsum, NPS, mutual funds) are projections based on assumed rates of return you provide — actual market-linked returns are never guaranteed and can be higher or lower, including negative.

Before making any financial decision — taking a loan, investing money, filing your taxes, or claiming an exemption — please verify the numbers with your bank, a SEBI-registered investment adviser, a chartered accountant, or another qualified professional. Contact form. If you use our contact form (hosted by Typeform) or email us directly, we receive the name, email address and message you choose to provide, solely to respond to your query.
